Day home

Jake started attending Peek-a-boo day home in June when I went back to work after my maternity leave - he goes 4 days a week. Although I was so sad putting him in daycare I decided that I had the choice to make it a positive or negative experience for both of us - so I chose to stay as positive as possible (after many tears and sleepless nights of course - my anxiety always seems to get the best of me)! The day home is run by a mom and dad and Jake has seemed to transition reasonably well. He still cries when we drop him off but by the time we leave the house he has stopped. His day is filled with playing with other kids (total of 8), having story and music time, playing outside, doing crafts and having fun. Overall we are happy with this experience.
